What is Trojan.Win32.Agent.akk?

Trojan.Win32.Agent.akk is a Trojan program that is displayed in the Warning message that looks similar to a Windows notification. Most often it is generated and displayed by a Trojan called Zlob that usually gets into your system through browser security exploits or bundled with fake video codecs.

Once executed, Zlob will bombard you with irritating alerts claiming that your PC has been infected with various Parasites, Viruses, Spyware, etc. The possible error message may be:

Critical System Error!
Your browser was hijacked by Trojan.Win32.Agent.akk
You need to clean your system immediately, in other case it can be crashed soon!
Click OK to download the high-tech antispyware protection software! (recommended)

If you click on it, you will be directed to the website where a rogue anti-spyware application is promoted (currently it is the rogue IEDefender program). In general, this is the way how the creators of IEDefender attempt to trick users into purchasing their rogue product.
