What is

Browser hijackers, such as, seem to be innocent search engines promoted through your browsers; however, there are certain security risks you take if you keep them on your computer. This search page, for example, similarly to other tools being promoted by hijackers, cannot be trusted at all. According to our specialists, this browser hijacker may expose you to potentially harmful web content through its third-party services and its search tool as well. We advise you against both using and keeping this search engine in your browsers because its presence may bring more infections onto your computer, not to mention the possibility of getting scammed by criminals. Since this hijacker may enter your PC along with other malware infections, it is possible that you are facing multiple system security-related issues right now. Failing to act in time may cause serious damage to your operating system, your files, and your privacy as well. That is why we recommend that you remove immediately.test

Where does come from?

This search engine is operated by IMALI - N.I. MEDIA LTD. Our researchers have not found any promotional website that could be called the official site for this tool. As a matter of fact, this browser hijacker seems to be spread on the web in freeware bundles. Unfortunately, these bundles usually contain more than just one unpleasant “surprise.” Schemers may pack several malware programs in such a package, including adware programs, browser hijackers, Trojans, and potentially unwanted programs as well. If such a company finds a way to your computer, you can be sure that your system will have some trouble before long.

This is why you need to be extra careful when searching the web for free tools and software. There is a good chance that you land on questionable file-sharing sites. A lot of these sites are totally fake and only there on the web as bait. If you click on any content on such a page, you may trigger the download of a malware bundle. It is also possible that new tabs open and introduce you to more unsafe content. If you can recall visiting such sites, we advise you to remove and identify all other potentially harmful applications as well. Keep in mind that leaving any threat on your computer can increase its vulnerability and exposure to cyber criminals.

How does work?

This search page is not really different from any other unreliable search tools. Although there are ones with a single search box in the middle of the page, but this search page also has a fake toolbar with a couple of quick links to third-party websites. These include Scan PC (, Test Internet Speed (, and other pages in relation to PC scanning. Unfortunately, visiting these pages may be detrimental to your computer’s health. For example, the Scan PC link leads to a potentially unsafe website. Here is the error message that may be displayed by an up-to-date security tool if you have one installed: “The web page is on the list of websites with potentially dangerous content.” It is also possible that this browser hijacker injects potentially unreliable third-party advertisements into the linked pages, not to mention the possibly manipulated search results it may display. Here is a short excerpt from the License Agreement:

the services and content provided on the Website, including but not limited to, the information, documents, graphics and images may be supplied by third parties and could include inaccuracies, typographical errors or other errors.

As a matter of fact, this search page does not even use its own search results. Instead, all your queries get redirected to and most likely you will see a modified results page, too. This means that there may be affiliated parties’ websites promoted through ads or links. Since these may well be totally unreliable, clicking on them could take you to malicious websites. If you do not want first-hand experience about how such a visit may end for you, we suggest that you delete from your browsers ASAP.

How can I delete

Although this browser hijacker does not have a working uninstaller, it is still not too difficult to get rid of it. It may take a bit longer than simply running an uninstaller in Control Panel because you need to manually restore or change the home page settings in all of the major browsers, including Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome. If you are not familiar with this process, please use our guide below. Also, remember that you may be able to prevent this hijacker and similar infections from entering your computer if you stick to some basic rules of web surfing. For example, if you try not to end up on suspicious file-sharing websites and you think twice before clicking on questionable links, images, and third-party ads, you can do a lot in the area of threat prevention. If you also make sure that all your drivers and programs are updated, you can lower the chance of cyber attacks via security holes.
