The main problem regarding Windows Police Pro is it blocks all of your admin functions. So trying to launch what is know to be any type of scanning software will not work because WPP will not allow its operation. The same goes for the task manager, your command prompt, and the registry editor. I usually have been able to boot up in safe mode, (this is performed by pressing F8 during boot-up) but until just recently, (last night as a matter of fact) it seemed as if WPP would cause a blue screen when I tried booting up in safe mode. My only recourse then was to hunt down key files in the windows directory. Unfortunately I was only able to trash a few DLL’s but it did not do much to stop the operation of WPP and the files replicated on boot up anyway. If you don’t have any kind of restore backed up, and most people do not, then you may find yourself having to wipe your drive and reinstall your OS.
