VirusBurst, a VirusBlast clone, is a rogue anti-spyware program that alleges to remove spyware only if you purchase the VirusBurst full version. VirusBurst installs a Trojan on your machine that displays a message on your system tray similar to a windows update notification. Do not be fooled! The only task Virus Burst will execute is a "burst" of Spyware on your computer.

VirusBurst pops up this fake warning message:
"System detected virus activities. They may cause critical system failure. Please, use antimalware software to clean and protect your system from parasite programs. Click this balloon to get all available software."

Clicking on this fake security notification, directs you to a pre-defined website to purchase the VirusBurst removal software. VirusBurst may come bundled with other malicious spyware and may install on your machine without your permission.
