How to Remove VirusBurst (Removal Instructions)
What is VirusBurst? (Scan your PC for VirusBurst with SpyHunter)
VirusBurst, a VirusBlast clone, is a rogue anti-spyware program that alleges to remove spyware only if you purchase the VirusBurst full version. VirusBurst installs a Trojan on your machine that displays a message on your system tray similar to a windows update notification. Do not be fooled! The only task Virus Burst will execute is a "burst" of Spyware on your computer.
VirusBurst pops up this fake warning message:
"System detected virus activities. They may cause critical system failure. Please, use antimalware software to clean and protect your system from parasite programs. Click this balloon to get all available software."
Clicking on this fake security notification, directs you to a pre-defined website to purchase the VirusBurst removal software. VirusBurst may come bundled with other malicious spyware and may install on your machine without your permission.

I have all the symptoms of virusburst on a computer I am working on but absolutely none of the files or registry entries exist that are mentioned in your guide.

I should have added that I only have WinPatrol asking me if the virusbusters exe can be added to the start-up feature in WinPatrol. I have no popups, or anything in the taskbar. Searching the hidden files and folders and “C” drive do not find anything.
