System Security 2009 is a clone of another rogue anti-spyware program called System Security. Once System Security 2009 is installed, usually through a Trojan, it begins its evil deeds. System Security 2009 main weapon is to frighten and strike fear in you. This is done by performing a fake scan of your PC. This phony scan will claim that your PC is infected with numerous parasites. To scare you even more, your screen will be filled with phony pop-ups and alerts, all with the sole intention of picking your pocket. The System Security 2009 application is a useless scam program. Protect yourself by being aware of their tactics and by not buying the shamware. You should also run a scan with reliable anti-spyware software to detect and remove any infections.

How do you download any anti malware/spyware program (if you even know which is a good one) once your pc (xp version) has been infected by the system security virus? My desktop will not allow me to even get on the internet now. Or open anything. Is there anything I can do (for cheap!) to remove this horror? Also, what should I do in the future to close the pop up that first appears. No matter if I clicked on the no, yes or x box, it installed the damn thing anyway.
