How to Remove IE AntiVirus (Removal Instructions)
What is IE AntiVirus? (Scan your PC for IE AntiVirus with SpyHunter)
IE AntiVirus (also known as IE Antivirus 3.2) is a bogus anti-spyware application, and is a clone of the notorious Malware Bell, Files Secure and IE Defender. IE AntiVirus may compromise your system with the help of various Trojans, most commonly Zlob and Vundo. Such Trojans are usually bundled with fake video codecs, especially the Video Access Codec. As soon as IE AntiVirus is installed, it will display fraudulent warning messages stating that your machine is infected with dangerous parasites. Such misleading alerts are displayed in hopes of tricking you into purchasing the full version of IE AntiVirus to dispose of the threats it supposedly detected. IE AntiVirus is not to be trusted since it will not perform any anti-spyware tasks. It is strongly recommended to dispose of IE AntiVirus without any hesitation and as soon as possible.
