SpyCrush

SpyCrush, a variant of SpyDawn and VirusBurst is a rogue anti-spyware application that tries to goad users into buying its commercial version. Once you have your machine infected, SpyCrush will issue a fake notification stating that your machine is infected with spyware. SpyCrush uses the same EULA as its rogue predecessor VirusBurst. SpyCrush is reported to be very difficult to remove manually and has an ability to recreate itself. SpyCrush is a serious threat and is recommended to be removed immediately.

I want a free program that will get rid of the little icon blinking in my bottom right corner. I can\’t get rid of it. I deleted all the spycrush files and it\’s still there. I do not know what to do. HELP!!!

P.S.I do not want to spend alot of money on this there should be a way to do it free.

    michelle,

What manual removal process did you do to remove SpyCrush? SpyCrush can re-install after reboot. So even though you think you’ve removed all the files there can still be traces left. You probably have a Trojan called Zlob which is what installs most of the rogue anti-spyware programs.
