Files Secure

Files Secure is a fake spyware removal program that is primarily designed to lure Internet users out of their money. Files Secure is advertised and pushed by Trojan-Downloader.Adload.pd , which creeps onto your machine bundled with fake video codecs that users usually download from questionable web pages. Once it is installed, Trojan-Downloader.Adload.pd will hijack web search engines, including Google and display false error warnings in your search results.

Furthermore, Trojan-Downloader.Adload.pd will generate irritating fake popup warning messages stating that your PC has been infected with various Trojans, such as Trojan.Win32.Gorshok.a , Trojan.Win32.LinkReplacer , Trojan.Win32.Agent.akk , Trojan.Win32.Obfuscated.gx and others.

Notice that these Trojan names are the fake ones and non-existent. The possible error message may look like this one:

Critical System Error!
Your browser was hijacked by Trojan.Win32.Gorshok.a
You need to clean your system immediately, in other case it can be crashed soon!
Click OK to download the high-tech antispyware protection software!
(Recommended)

If you click on this FAKE message, your browser will be directed to the webpage where the rogue Files Secure application is promoted attempting to trick you into purchasing its full commercial version. In addition, Files Secure is a clone of notorious IEDefender. We recommend the immediate removal of Files Secure because this program will not protect you against Spyware, but might actually expose you to more security threats.

I want to share my opinion about Files Secure. I wanted to see some videos on the Internet and as I clicked on the image I was told to download a codec. As I downloaded the codec I got the pop-ups while surfing on the Internet which said that my computer is infected and suggested me to download a remedy program. Those were the fake notifications and I got Files Secure on my computer. The removal of this parasite wasn’t so easy for me. This nasty parasite comes with trojans and what you need first of all to do is to remove the trojans from your computer and then to remove Files Secure. Because after Files Secure removal the trojans may install this parasite again. I tried several free anti-spyware programs, but they don’t helped me to remove the infection. Finally the manual Files Secure removal instructions helped me.
