Here, the PUP is presented as a highly useful tool that is supposed to help you create, unpack, and compress archive files. What is disturbing is that PepperZip is presented as a free application, even when it is not the case. If you download the suspicious program, sooner or later you will be presented with a notification suggesting that your “trial period has expired.” You will be offered to upgrade the trial version to the “unlimited” version for $14.
